Hungarian was her first language and she used it frequently to maintain her fluency. Bruckner is an Hollywood California native born to the Hungarian and a Russian father who had divorced from their mother earlier in life she was a child of a German maternal grandparent. The daughter is of Hungarian parents who met in Hungary. Her family emigrated to the U.S.A. via an Italian refugee camps in 1984. She has two siblings and one younger brother.
